The Laura T. Davison Missionary Society of the Union Evangelical Church, Greenville, held its first meeting on October 10, 1874. In 1982, a "Thrift Shop" was started. Although the Missionary Society itself went into recess in 1998, the "Thrift Shop", run by volunteers, continues its outreach. We gladly receive good used clothing and small household items. These items may be dropped off at any time. The proceeds earned are donated to many charities state wide and to local people who need a helping hand. Any overflow items are sent to larger thrift shops in the Waterville - Bangor area.
